What a Monetary Expansion!
The background to the above graph is white, not orange. The orange line and the red circle represent the total amount of Fed credit as of last Thursday, October 2. As you can see, there has been a massive explosion in Fed credit in the last two weeks, far beyond anything we’ve seen in the last nine years.
